Elvis Jeannot – Operations Manager  

Elvis has a background in architecture and joined the project in December 2006 to manage the planning, design and construction of the new schools. Elvis has a passion for today’s learning environments, which he says are fun, exciting and stimulating and contribute significantly to helping students engage in their education. 

Previous projects include the: Marlo Rural Learning Centre in Gippsland, Maryborough precinct and Mill Park Lakes Secondary College. Prior to joining DEECD in 2001, Elvis was a planning and design manager at Deakin University.

Anna Vlass – Curriculum and Pedagogy Director 

Anna’s role is to lead the development and implementation of the new teacher and student learning practice across the participating schools.  Anna is working alongside the schools’ leading teachers and principals to build a relevant and robust teacher practice that reflects how students learn in the 21st century.

Anna has over 30 years teaching and management experience. She is the former principal of Box Hill Senior Secondary College and a former member of the Victorian Qualifications Authority and Victorian Educational Training reference group.

  Anna Vlass

Jane Thomson – Communications Advisor 

Jane is responsible for production and delivery of the project’s communications. This includes liaising with the community, parents, local council and media; writing newsletters, school fact sheets, brochures and banners and the development and management of the website. Jane is also helping principals with the marketing of their schools.

She has been with the project since early 2007 and previously worked as a communications advisor for an IT company and the Department of Corrections in New Zealand.
